Trudy Georgio is a Ph.D., Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral®, Licensed Behavior Analyst (TX, CT), and founder of Tru Behavior Development, LLC.
​
​Trudy is motivated by effecting socially significant behavior change and disseminating the science of behavior to the next generation of behavior analysts! She provides private Behavior Consultation and family and ABA company trainings focused on teaching language based- compassion focused care. She also provides BACB® ACE continuing education events to those holding the RBT®, BCaBA®, and BCBA® credentials, and those wanting to learn more about applied behavior analysis.

Education and Professional Development
Trudy received a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Art Education from the University of South Carolina. She taught in the South Carolina public school system before beginning her career in 2010 in the field of applied behavior analysis. She continued her education at the University of South Carolina, completing her postbaccalaureate in applied behavior analysis with an emphasis on Special Education; Severe and Multiple Disabilities, to become a Board Certified assistant Behavior Analyst in 2014. In 2017 she completed the Master in Education; Curriculum and Instruction program with a focus on applied behavior analysis through Arizona State University, furthering her credential as a BCBA. In 2023, Trudy received her Ph.D. in Educational Psychology at Texas A&M University, and later the BCBA-D® designation.

Trudy is currently working as assistant professor at Bay Path University, teaching in the applied behavior analysis master's program, and providing supervision to BCBA® trainees.

Research
Trudy's research interests include using technology services for remote training and supervision, joint attention training, and assent-based intervention practices.
